Ages 10 - 17

​The Big Mountain is a ski-specific program that offers a blend of all-mountain alpine fundamentals and facilitates their application in freeriding. This team spends a large portion of their time in the woods and ripping carves on the trails. Time is spent in the terrain park practicing freestyle skills so that athletes can take their spins and grabs to all-natural mountain features. Big Mountain athletes compete in the IFSA circuit. All athletes are required to compete at least once per season. Participation in a Friendly competition fulfills the requirement. There are multiple opportunities to participate in regional events in northern Vermont at Stowe, Jay, Mad River, and Sugarbush.
