GMA MINIMUM ABILITY POLICY
Skiers must be able to keep skis parallel on all blue (intermediate) terrain in all conditions at all times. Skiers must be able to ski blue terrain at a moderate pace and hockey stop in both directions.
Snowboarders must be able to make toe and heel turns on all blue (intermediate) terrain in all conditions at all times. Snowboarders must be able to ride blue terrain at a moderate pace and stop on either edge.
AGES 7 - 10
Junior Rippers is a program for our youngest athletes to become familiar with and receive instruction in alpine and freestyle disciplines.
AGES 10 - 17
Freeski teams ride the whole mountain and continue developing fundamental skills while focusing on their freestyle progressions in the park.
AGES 10 - 17
The Alpine program focuses on all-mountain alpine fundamentals as well as freestyle skills and their application in freeriding for skiers and snowboarders.
A GMA Athlete Membership is included in the cost of any full season program.
A Member Only option is available for athletes ages 12+ who want all the benefits of a GMA membership without the full-time training commitment.
AGES 7 - 10
She Shreds is a specialty program GMA is piloting in an effort to increase female participation in snowboarding. Young girls will be grouped together with a female coach to build fundamental skills in alpine and freestyle snowboarding.
Ages 10 - 17
The Big Mountain is a ski-specific program that offers a blend of all-mountain alpine fundamentals and facilitates their application in freeriding
AGES 12 - 17
Winter Academy provides exceptional and intense athletic training for our highest performing and most dedicated athletes.
Refund Policy
Before 10/1; $50 cancellation fee
10/1 - 10/31; $350 cancellation fee, retain GMA membership
11/1 - 11/15; 50% of total cost of program, retain GMA membership
After 11/15; No refund
*Should GMA need to dismiss an athlete from the program due to non-readiness, a refund will be issued for a prorated cost of the program minus admin and processing fees.
*Should GMA need to dismiss an athlete from the program due to behavior, no refund will be issued.
*Should a parent choose to pull their athlete from GMA after the start of the program, no refund will be issued.
